Global eTraining is excited to announce the release of ‘GeT Know-How’, an intuitive on-demand reference and eTraining plugin to popular Autodesk software programs. We have completely rebuilt our existing Autodesk plugin from the ground up, and in doing so have injected it with a plethora of new capabilities to vastly improve user experience and enhance existing features. Users will have relevant Autodesk, BIM and company-specific training right at their fingertips, allowing them to stay productive and focus on work that matters most.
‘GeT-Know How’ is available directly inside Autodesk software which includes Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor, and Navisworks. Instead of having to download a different plugin for each software, one ‘GeT Know-How’ plugin installs seamlessly into whatever Autodesk software is being used. Users can now work through different course topics directly within their favorite Autodesk software with access to the ‘GeT Interactive’ course interface which includes videos, screenshots, audio instruction, hands-on exercises, help-desk support and more.

Additional features include predictive learning, where ‘GeT Know-How’ reacts to user commands, showing learning content relevant to the tools that are being actively used. Personalization is a key focus of ‘GeT Know-How’, as now users will have the ability to filter content to show or hide full course slides, eDemo video content and “Let Me Try” practical exercises.
‘Get Know-How’ also offers the ability to customize content thanks to the utilization of GeT’s ‘The Generator’ course authoring technology. This means organizations can have their custom courses and related workflows loaded directly into the ‘GeT Know How’ app so they are easily accessible to their entire team. ‘Get Know-How’ has the ability to completely streamline how users learn and work.
‘GeT Know-How’ is available now in the Autodesk App Store as a free download. ‘GeT Know-How’ is built for Microsoft Windows OS and requires a subscription to the ‘GeT Everything’ library and the successful installation of compatible Autodesk software.
