This course, authored by Global eTraining partner, technology expert and e-verse CEO, Valentin Noves, introduces learners to Autodesk APS (Autodesk Platform Services), formerly known as Forge – a powerful cloud platform transforming workflows in the AEC and manufacturing industries.
With over 12 years of experience in software development, data visualization, BIM and project innovation, Valentin brings a wealth of knowledge to this foundational course.
Introduction to Autodesk APS is a 2-hour course designed to help AEC professionals and developers understand and harness the power of APS. The training begins with a high-level overview of APS and API fundamentals, then dives into technical details such as REST APIs, JavaScript-based APIs like the APS Viewer, and authentication workflows. Learners will explore two-legged and three-legged authentication, including how to obtain and manage access tokens.
By the end of the course, participants will have the skills needed to:
- Integrate Autodesk APS into their own applications
- Streamline workflows through cloud-based automation
- Leverage APS APIs for enhanced visualization and data management
