Our access to technology is a privilege, and as we pursue more sustainable education through eTraining, we’re saying goodbye to textbooks!

We also recognize that there are some places around the world where technology isn’t as readily available.  So as we say “out with the old, in with the new”, let’s do something special with those old STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) textbooks!

When you come visit us at AU this year (Booth #AE314), bring your old AEC and related STEM textbooks and we will donate them to Books For Africa

Books for Africa is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, sorting, shipping, and distributing books to children and adults in Africa.

Book Donation Guidelines

When bringing a textbook to AU2019 to donate, keep the following donation guidelines in mind:

  • We will be accepting architecture, engineering, construction or related STEM textbooks that are from 2002 or later (soft or hardcover)
  • AEC references books published in 2007 or later
  • English or French language
  • Books must be in good condition (no “dog eared” pages, compromised bindings, etc)

Only books which meet these qualifications will be donated to Books for Africa. However any books that do not qualify will be donated locally in Las Vegas or recycled, so if you have books you’re itching to give away – bring ‘em!

As more and more education is moving online, we are excited to give you a chance to get out with the old and in with the new! We appreciate you helping us at Global eTraining to provide education to people in developing countries because enabling people to change the world is what matters most.
