Megan Johnson Megan Johnson is a registered architect and avid academic who has utilized her skills with Revit and knowledge of BIM to develop DigitalBlue Design, LLC. DigitalBlue provides support to contractors, sub-contractors and fabricators to streamline workflows to bring the design intent to the field in the most effective manner. By maintaining relationships with cohorts on the design and owners' sides, Megan aims to develop workflows that can support the multiple needs of design, construction and maintenance. She has trained thousands of individuals to use Revit in a BIM-Savvy manner over the past 20 years. She has spoken internationally and has been published several times in publications like the Journal of the National Institute of Building Sciences.

Megan Johnson's BIM Series is designed to focus on how collaboration and strategic alliances can benefit BIM workflows. Basic BIM tools are reviewed for their applicability to design and construction workflows so that building industry owners may assess how the tools can enhance their collaboration and communication.
