The HazCom – GHS Overview Toolbox Talk from ClickSafety is an introductory-level toolbox talk safety video in which Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Pete Rice thoroughly reviews OSHA’s Hazard Communication (HazCom) Standard and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). New regulations went into effect on June 1, 2015, designed to continue OSHA’s standard of preventing injuries and illnesses on the worksite. The GHS update refined the information required by chemical manufacturers, ultimately protecting over 40 million workers who produce or handle hazardous chemicals across the U.S. In this toolbox talk, participants will gain a further understanding of these updates and standards.
