The Cold Stress Toolbox Talk from ClickSafety is designed to explore cold weather and winter conditions and the question employers must ask themselves: “How cold is too cold?” Pete Rice, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), discusses the risks of cold stress to the body and how employers can keep employees safe through proper planning and training.
In this Toolbox Talk, participants can expect to explore which workers are most at risk during cold weather and winter conditions, as well as three cold stress risks one must be aware of. Emphasis will be placed on protective measures one can take to remain warm and dry, therefore minimizing risk.
