Carina Butterworth is a professional engineer with a MSc in Geomatics Engineering and holds a Certificate for Emerging Leaders from the University of Calgary. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and is near completion.  Her research focuses on improving breast cancer imaging using microwave and laser scanning technology. An award-winning instructor in SAIT’s Geomatics Engineering Technology program, she was the recipients of the National Geomatics Leader in Innovation Award in 2024, SAITSA Teaching Excellence Award in 2021 with nominations every year,  the International Women’s Day Catalyst Award (2020), and the SAIT Brand Original Award (2017). Her passions lie in using multi-disciplinary data to solve problems and in educating the future generations to think outside traditional career pathways.

Christopher Kercheval is an independent consultant and owner of TopKerv Consulting based out of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. My background includes 12 years as a land surveyor in the states of Florida and Pennsylvania working in residential property and oil and gas exploration among various other project types. I most recently held the title of Technical Sales and Support Engineer for Z+F USA performing client trainings, demonstrations, and actively participating in various industry trade shows.

Gabriel Kettler is the Layout Department Manager for Turner Construction’s Seattle Business Unit and Co-Founder of Lidaholics International, a global community dedicated to advancing LiDAR and geospatial technology. He holds Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification, reflecting a deep foundation in professional surveying and measurement science.
