Wes Clark started with owning and managing a Design/Build Construction Company of 20 years, including geothermal heat pumps, loop, and duct design, and later took on MiTek and Istruct for engineered floors, panels, and roof designs.
Wes was originally introduced to BIM software in 2002 at a trade show and soon moved on to training in Revit Software in 2012. This experience resulted in Wes eventually facilitating training labs and classrooms inclusive of curriculum design, while also continuing as a contract designer between classes. As part of this five-year position, Wes designed a 14-week BIM course featuring a project-oriented feasibility study, BIM execution overview, full architecture, structure, and complete MEP cycle to virtual construction for facility handoff. Wes’s courses also included AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Tekla Connect for a complete overview of the BIM process from conception to facility handoff for stakeholders.
